Four days, 1400 trees, 13 people (not all at once! Four days, 1400 trees, 13 people (not all at once!) and 8 dogs! We’re completely overwhelmed by the hard work and enthusiasm of all our helpers - family, friends and volunteers who came over the 4 days, some with their dogs, to plant our new wood. A great socially distanced activity! Just a couple of hundred left to do - need to buy them first - and some more canes to support them, and we’re done! All are native species, sessile oak, willow, hazel, rowan, cherry, whitebeam, crab apple, Scots pine, and blackthorn. Thanks to @daera.ni for the Small Woodland Grant!
